  • READ_PHONE_STATE
    This permission allows the Application to detect the state of your phone (e.g., incoming or ongoing calls). We use this information solely to display the Caller ID information during calls and to enhance user experience.
  • READ_CALL_LOG (if applicable)
    This permission enables the Application to access your recent call history. We use this to identify previously received or made calls to provide Caller ID verification and history of verified numbers. The call log data is processed on your device and, where necessary, securely transmitted to our servers to match against verified business or user records.
  • INTERNET
    This permission allows the Application to connect to the internet to verify phone numbers against our secure databases and display up-to-date Caller ID information.
  • ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE
    This permission enables the Application to check whether you are connected to the internet so it can determine whether verification services are available.
  • READ_CONTACTS (if applicable)
    If you choose to enable this feature, this permission allows the Application to display the names of your saved contacts alongside Caller ID information. This data remains on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

We do not collect or upload your contacts or call logs for any purpose other than providing Caller ID and verification functionality. We do not sell or share this information with third parties except as explicitly described in this Privacy Policy.

8. How We Use Permission-Based Data

The data accessed through these permissions is used exclusively for:

  • Displaying Caller ID and verification badges in real time
  • Helping you identify verified numbers when you search for them within the Application
  • Improving the accuracy and relevance of the Application’s features

We adhere to the principle of data minimization, requesting only the permissions necessary to provide the core services of the Application.

You can manage or revoke these permissions at any time through your device settings. Please note that disabling certain permissions (such as Call Log or Phone State) may limit the functionality of the Application, including live Caller ID and verification services.
